A pocket watch with very unusual dial, made by Patek, Philippe & Co in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1900. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and the very unusual white enamel dial features an outer ring with Arabic 5 minute numerals and a 1/5th second division, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued Breguet steel hands. The numbered movement is fitted with a precision lever escapement, wolf’s toothing and a moustache shaped lever.
The case, dial and movement are signed.
