A Swiss 18K yellow gold, keyless, slim, minute repeating dress watch, circa 1921. Sold on November 22nd, 1924. A polished case with a hinged gold cuvette. Brushed silver dial with applied yellow gold Breguet numerals, engraved outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and yellow gold Breguet hands. Movement with Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, the centre jewel in screwed gold chaton, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
