Gold full hunter repeating chronograph lever watch
–
A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph and minute repeater from the early 20th century. This watch has a hand wound mechanical movement with a compensated bimetallic balance, a lever escapement, an advance/delay adjustment rack, and a two hammer gong chime for the minute repeater. A single push button on the pendant activates the chronograph. A slide in the band releases the minute repeater striking mechanism. The white enamel dial shows Arabic numerals for hours and minutes, two vertical counters for 30 minute and seconds indications, a railroad minute track with 1/5 second graduation, a central chronograph hand, and spade hands for the time. The round 18 carat yellow gold case is smooth with a hinged hunter case back, a lid monogrammed in English letters, and a plain gold cuvette.
