A large Swiss 18K rose gold keyless quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1900. With a chronograph, triple date calendar and moon phases. A solid, polished case and a hinged gold cuvette engraved with the prize medals and technical details over a glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute and outermost fifths of second chronograph divisions, subsidiary dials for the seconds, date, days of the week, months and aperture for the moon phases. Gilt Louis XV hands. A frosted gilt movement, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by push button on the band, centrifugal governor.
