A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced minute repeating keyless pocket watch with split seconds chronograph and 30 minute register, circa 1900. A polished case and hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute and fifth of a second track, outermost red Arabic five minute/second markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute register at 12 and black steel spade hands. A nickel silver movement, 30 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, an index regulator, wolf’s tooth winding and the repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial and movement signed.
