Gold open faced lever pocket watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch with guilloché and engraving, from the late 19th to early 20th century. It has a hand wound mechanical movement. The white enamel dial features an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and Louis XV style hands. The caseback is decorated with a medallion engraved with the initials FA and garlands of flowers on a guilloché background. The case is double gold, numbered, and bears the horsehead hallmark (1838-1919) and amaster’ss stamp: CF and two crossed hammers.
