A heavy and large, Swiss quarter repeating gentleman’s hunting cased pocket watch with two figure automat Jacquemarts, circa 1900.
18 carat rose polished gold case with pusher for repetition at six and glazed movement. Central translucent red enamel chapter dial on an engine-turned ground with Arabic numerals, Jacquemart à deux couleurs, an hour striking noble young lady on the right and a quarter striking young lady-man on the left side standing on a bouquet, engine-turned and translucent green enamelled background and pierced hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, with two hammers, one gong, governor for repetition and monometallic screw balance.
