A very rare Swiss 18K gold, independently adjustable dual-time-zone keyless pocket watch, circa 1900. With Réaumur thermometer, day of the week, date and independent centre-seconds. Made for the Turkish market. A solid, polished case with a gold-hinged cuvette. White enamel dial, two meantime dials, the first with radial Roman numerals, the second with Islamic numerals, white enamel, two subsidiary dials for days of the week and months (in Arabic), blue steel spade hands and blue steel fleur-de-lis hands for the dual time, thermometer sector at 6 in Réaumur centigrade. Rhodium-plated movement, 33 jewels, two-train, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case signed, case numbered.
