A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch with double bowl case, made circa 1890-1910. It has a mechanical lever movement with a quarter repeater complication, activated by a button on the case edge, striking the hours and quarters on a metal gong. The classic white enamel dial shows black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track with Arabic numerals at five minute intervals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and Louis XV style gold coloured hands. The solid 18 carat yellow gold case has a double bowl back and a finely hand engraved monogram on the exterior.
