A very fine Swiss, 18 carat yellow gold keyless pocket watch, circa 1893. Split Seconds Chronograph by Patek, Philippe & Cie, Genève, retailed by Tiffany & Co., New York. Activated by the single round push piece located on the winding crown, the safety bolt locks the chronograph’s functions (slide at 11 o’clock). Split seconds (activated by the rectangular push piece located on the case band at 10:30). A solid, polished bassine, the back cover with an engraved monogram. Hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute and 1/5 seconds divisions with red Arabic 5-minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. A maillechort movement, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
