An unusual Swiss, silver-metal and lacquer, keyless pocket watch decorated with the suite of hearts playing cards, circa 1943. Brushed silver-metal band, polished bezel, channel decorated with black lacquer and 12 heart playing cards, recessed winder, transparent back. Black dial with silver outer minute track, the King of Hearts playing card at 12. Steel epee hands. A rhodium-plated, Geneva striking decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
