A very fine Swiss, unusual and rare 18K yellow gold and diamond heart-shaped pendant watch with a heart-shaped movement, circa 1859. Accompanied by a fitted box, key and the Extract from the Archives, sold on August 5th, 1868. The front with yellow gold and diamond-set monogram and is opened by depressing the button on the bow, and the back with yellow gold and diamond-set rose, hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blue steel Breguet hands. Heart-shaped, gilt movement, 15 jewels, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed.
