A fine Swiss 18K gold and black enamel hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1900. An engine-turned case, reeded band, gold hinged cuvette decorated with the fine engine turning at the edge, the front and back with black enamel floral designs, the front and back covers opened by Independent buttons. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, minute ring, subsidiary seconds and blued steel gold floral hands. Jewelled movement, patented calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed.
