A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, dating from the early 20th century. The watch features a hand wound mechanical movement with a crown set mechanism and lever escapement. The 18 carat yellow gold case is heavily decorated on the back with an elaborate, large scale intertwined monogram in relief. The matching 18 carat gold inner cuvette (dust cover) is finely engraved with Remontoir, Ligne Droite, and 15 Rubis, and features several decorative medallions indicating the quality of the movement. The white enamel dial (cracked) displays black Roman numerals, an outer railway minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, and ornate gilt hands.
