A rare and unusual, large Swiss platinum pocket watch with a split-seconds chronograph and 30-minute register, circa 1995. Made in a limited edition of 50 examples in 1995.
A polished and rounded bezel, engine-turned band, knurled crown and push-buttons, sapphire crystals. Two-tone, silvered dial with guilloché centre, black radial Arabic numerals on a plain reserve, outer luminous dot markers, outermost raised chapter ring with Arabic minutes and 1/10th second divisions, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute registers. Blued steel baton hands with luminous tips. A rhodium-plated movement, 21 jewels, Geneva striping decoration, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Split-seconds chronograph work mounted on the back plate. Dial, case and movement signed. This watch is sold with a box and certificate of authenticity.

This split-seconds chronograph was made in 1995. It uses a rhodium-finished vintage movement based on the one created for the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games, which marked Omega´s debut as the official timekeeper for the majority of modern Olympics.
