Rare pair of chronometers with agate cases

An extremely unusual pair of chronometers with agate cases and agate T pieces on a chain, made by Zenith SA in Le Locle, Switzerland, circa 1925. The cases of these watches are crafted from agate with gold mounts and the original enamel dials feature an outer minutes and hours track with Arabic numerals for the hours, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, gold hands and are marked “Brevet” (patent applied for). The Zenith movements in chronometer quality are equipped with Lever escapements.
The dials are signed.
