Steel chronograph with counter and tachymeter
–
A remarkable large Swiss pocket watch with chronograph and 30 minutes counter, circa 1950.
Made for Andras Huber, purveyor to the court in Munich.
A very rare pocket chronometer with calibre 292, produced by wristwatch specialist Universal. The striking steel case and the black dial with its gold tachymeter scale lend the watch a distinct and cutting edge look.
The case is steel, the dial is black with two subsidiary dials and the movement is a 3/4 plate movement with a Glucydur screw balance.
