A Swiss deck chronometer with a split tenth of a second chronograph and a device for the electromechanical release of the chronograph, circa 1950.
Steel, polished case with a steel dome and screw back. Signed, numbered enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, subsidiary dial for the 30min counter, centre chronograph hand, and blued Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated, 2/3 plate movement with Geneva Stripes decoration, finely ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, ground double hand tong with polished bevelling, separate ratchet wheel for split-seconds chronograph, screw compensation balance, cam-type fine adjusting device, and pink gilt train.
