A very fine decorative Swiss hunting cased quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1900.
Engine turned 18 carat gold à goutte case with florally engraved cartouche, engine turned band, gold dome with engraving and slide for repeating mechanism. Silvered engine turned and florally engraved dial with applied floral ornaments, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued “Fleur de Lys” hands. Bridge movement, nickel-plated, decorated, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, wolfteeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, lever cock with fine adjusting device, counterpoised lever.
