A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating lever pocket watch with a concealed erotic scene, circa 1900. Nickelled split three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement, slide quarter repeating on two steel gongs, cam and lever to drive the automaton above the plate. The gold cuvette made in two parts conceals the scene, the upper part engraved with details of the movement, a false gold cover opens to reveal an erotic scene on an enamelled gold plate with a line drawn scene of a lake and distant mountains, polychrome enamel figures of a hunter and young woman engaged in an amorous encounter spring to life when the repeat mechanism is activated. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Plain case, gold slide in the band,
