A very fine Geneva deck watch, Chronometer Royal, of the British Royal Navy, circa 1947. The watch has a polished silver case, which is engraved with military markings of HS 2 and a punch mark of FFBA (Fédération des Fabricants de boites argent). The dial is silvered, signed and numbered, with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, and blued steel spade hands. The watch also has a bridge movement, lever escapement, and a large Guillaume gold screw compensation balance.
