A Swiss nickel plated keyless winding pocket watch, circa 1890. With a special winding and setting mechanism operated through the fluted bezel by turning it respectively clockwise or counterclockwise. An engine turned case back, plain bezels and a ribbed band. White enamel dial with radial Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. A nickel plated brass ¾ plate movement, going barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat hairspring and polished steel index regulator.
