An elegant Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless dress watch, circa 1900. A solid case with a hinged gold cuvette. Polished hinged case back with a white champlevé enamel geometric pattern outer border, the bezel is decorated to match. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and gold hands. A rhodium plated, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance to eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patented index regulator. Dial, case and movement are signed.
