A fine Swiss, yellow gold and split-pearl set lady’s ball watch with bezel winding on detachable pierced and engraved gold brooch, circa 1900. Ball-form, matted with applied high-relief foliate decoration set with split pearls to the band, bezel winding and hand-setting. White enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals and red 12, outer gilt dot minute divisions. Spade’s hands. A matte gilt, full plate movement, ten jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
