A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating chronograph pocket watch with tachymeter scale, circa 1900. This watch has a winding, numbered movement with a lever escapement and an hour and quarter chronograph striking mechanism. It features a white enamel dial with black Breguet style hour markers, an outer minute and 1/5 second track with Arabic five minute numerals, an outermost tachymeter scale, a sunk subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, black pear shaped hands, and a central second hand for the chronograph function. The plain gold case is numbered.
