A very elegant Swiss, 18K varicoloured gold, enamel and rose-cut diamond-set lady’s keyless pendant watch, circa 1900. The back with a chased varicoloured high-relief decoration of a gryphon and dragonfly amongst translucent champlevé enamel bulrushes, and the dragonfly’s body is set with rose-cut diamonds. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals in gold paillon borders, gold dot outer minute track. Gilt Louis’s hands. A matte gilt movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Movement signed.
