A Swiss gold filled, double faced hunting quarter repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1910. With phases of the moon and a full calendar with Chinese characters. Made for the Chinese market. A massive case, sprung and hinged engine turned front cover with vacant cartouche, reeded band, engine turned hinged and sprung back cover. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute indicators, Arabic five minute markers, subsidiary seconds and gold hands. White enamel calendar dial with Chinese characters for outer date ring, subsidiary days of the week and months, aperture for phases of the moon, and setting levers in the bezel. Frosted gilt movement, straight line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on two gongs activated by a slide in the band.
