Gold repeating full hunter chronograph by Ixora/Picard & Co

A large, Swiss keyless-winding pocket watch with a carillon minute-repeater, three gongs, three hammers, and chronograph, circa 1910-1920.
Gilded brass movement, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve, index regulator; repeater work with the centrifugal governor; chronograph work on the top plate. Enamel dial with suspended Arabic numerals (12 in red), outer minutes/seconds track, subsidiary seconds at 6, yellow gold Louis XV hands, and two horological complications: Minute-repeater with carillon on three steel gongs by three hammers (activated by the slide at 6 o’clock); and 1/5 second chronograph (activated by the single round push-piece located on the case band at 12 o’clock). Round-shaped 18K pink gold polished case, case back engraved in taille-douce (fine-cut) with the cypher V B. Sold under the trademark Ixora.
