A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph pocket watch, made by Invicta, circa 1900. This exceptional grand complication features a mechanical movement with a pendant winding, striking hours, quarters, and minutes on demand, combined with a chronograph function, a Breguet balance spring, a lever escapement, and a dust cover. The white enamel dial displays painted Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the chronograph seconds, a large blued steel central seconds hand, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and Louis XV style hands for the time. The round 18 carat yellow gold case has an inner case in 18 carat yellow gold, signed and numbered by Invicta.
