A Swiss gold, enamel, and diamond set half hunting cased lady’s pendant watch with a fitted box, circa 1900. The watch has an unsigned, frosted, gilded movement with a lever escapement and a bimetallic compensation balance. It features a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands, and an outer minute ring. The gold case cover includes a glazed aperture surrounded by translucent blue guilloché enamel, white Arabic numerals, and an inner minute ring. The back of the case is decorated with translucent red guilloché enamel and centred by an applied diamond set crest of a horse with a ruby set eye.
–
A short gold brooch is also mounted with red guilloché enamel and a diamond setting. The front cover and cuvette are numbered. The watch comes in a blue velvet and silk lined fitted box with a gold tooled signature Frazer & Haws from Garrards, 31 Regent Street, Piccadilly.

The movement is operational with minor wear to the gilded finish. The dial has scratches and slight chipping at the centre and is missing the glass. There is a large chip on the numeral surround of the front cover between 6 and 8 o’clock. The enamel on the back shows wear with scratches, chips, and edge losses. Additionally, there are chips on the edges of the brooch enamel.
