Yellow gold minute repeating watch by Patek Philippe

A fine and rare Swiss yellow gold open faced minute repeating keyless watch with ultra thin movement, circa 1911.
Ultra thin manual winding movement with nickel lever escapement, 29 jewels, cut bimetallic compensation balance with peripheral timing screws and blued Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, two polished hammers on two gongs, wolf’s tooth winding mechanism.
White enamel dial, painted black and red Breguet numerals, yellow gold Louis-XV-style hands, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track, 18k yellow gold brushed and polished case, hinged cuvette, slide to activate the minute repeater at 3, case, dial and movement signed, cuvette engraved David Billings Peck 1914 and case engraved David Cameron Peck 1942.

With an Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture in 1911 and sale on June 4th 1914 and a presentation case and a certificate of origin.
This watch features the ultra-thin minute-repeater calibre 17”’, the so called “Crausaz balance”, made flatter and lighter to be invisible in its owner’s pocket. The hidden hinge to the case is a sign of the highest quality.
