Polished 18 carat gold case with glazed movement. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and spade hands. Bridge movement, two hammers / two gongs, gold screw compensation balance.
An unsigned gold pocket watch with minute repeater, in a case of the Société Générale des, monteurs de boîtes of Besançon; hands, dial and case combine to an unusual and appealing high contrast design.
