A gentleman’s very fine Geneva pocket watch

A very fine Swiss gentleman’s gold minute repeating Geneva pocket watch with split seconds chronograph, delivered on 02/26/1901 to Bailey Banks & Biddle in Philadelphia with Patek Philippe extract from the archives, circa 1900. 18 carat pink gold à goutte case, polished and monogrammed, with slide for repeating mechanism and pusher for chronograph at 11, and gold dome with presentation engraving. Signed enamel dial with radial Arabic Dauphine numerals, auxiliary seconds, 60 min. counter and Louis XV hands. Patented bridge movement quality Special, nickel-plated, with Geneva striping decoration, very finely ground bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, two hammers / two gongs, gold screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjusting device and counterpoised lever.
