An exquisite Swiss hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with automaton and two Jacquemarts, circa 1900. Bridge movement with two hammers and two gongs, gold screwed compensation balance. The two Jacquemarts to the front are represented by polychrome enamel angels in a cloud above the dial, the one on the left strikes a bell that is held out to it by another angel on a ladder, the other one on the right strikes a bell that is presented to it by an angel rising from a tree and an old man is seen sleeping under the tree. White enamel dial with Arabic hours sits in the centre, right above a small subsidiary second dial. 18 Carat rose gold case.
