An impressive, heavy Swiss 18-carat gold hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with quarter-hour self strike Grande Sonnerie and hour self strike Petite Sonnerie, circa 1900. Glazed movement, bridge movement with six screwed gold chatons, compensation balance with rose gold screws, two barrels are wound through a racking bar, for the minute repeater and the quarter-hour strike the two hammers strike on two different gongs. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. Plain case. Comes with an original box.
