Yellow gold split seconds chronograph

A Swiss 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased split seconds chronograph with 30 minute register, circa 1900. Round shaped guilloché case. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, a minute track, fifth of a second divisions, red Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, a half instantaneous 30 minute register at 12 and gold hands. Lever movement.

The movement is based on Swiss patent No. 3 360 delivered on March 17th, 1891, to Ch.-Léon Guinand, Les Brenets, for a “Compteur de minutes pour chronographes-compteurs s’appliquant indifféremment à la montre Lépine ou savonnette”.
