A rare Swiss 18K yellow gold two-time zone pocket watch, circa 1900. With a dead independent centre-second pocket watch with a winding key. An engine-turned front with engraved crest, reverse engine-turned and a hinged gold cuvette. Enamel dial with symmetrical small Roman chapter rings, outer dead centre second ring on the border of the bezel, small subsidiary seconds and blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass movement, 25 jewels, double train bar calibre with free-standing barrel, cylinder escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, flat balance spring and regulator. Dead independent centre seconds using a flirt on the escape pinion and with a bolt in the band. Patek Philippe & Cie. Genève on the dial.
