Gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch by Tiffany & Co.

A fine and rare hunting cased, 18 C yellow gold, five minute repeating, keyless Swiss pocket watch, circa 1890.
Rhodium plated movement, snail regulator, lever escapement. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with red Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds and blued spade hands. Polished plain 18 Carat gold case.
Signature on dial and movement.

Tiffany & Co. American jewellery company
In 1837, Charles Louis Tiffany founded the world famous jewellery company Tiffany & Co together with John B. Young in New York. The first store was located at Broadway 259. The company later opened branches in London and Paris. Tiffany worked as a court jeweller to almost all of Europe’s monarchs and was awarded the gold medal at the Philadelphia Exhibition in 1876 for the watches, jewellery, gold and silverware he exhibited.
