Barth & Fils, Swiss watch manufacturer
Barth & Fils was a Geneva watch manufacturer at the end of the 19th century. Joseph Barth is mentioned as early as 1862 in Geneva, and the company was also mentioned as J. Barth & Fils. His sons Louis Barth and Charles Barth later took over the company. The company was located at 26 Rue du Montblanc. The company used The Eiffel Tower in a “Marque du Fabrique” logo in 1889. High quality watches with complications were produced, usually sold to South America. Later the company was also listed in Le Locle as “Charles Barth Locle”.

In addition to J. Barth & Fils, there were also watchmakers in Geneva: Maurice Barth in the Pradier 1 and Nathan Barth in the Montblanc 17.
