A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold, minute repeating keyless hunting cased chronograph pocket watch, circa 1900. Gilt movement, jewelled, lever escapement, screw cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel balance spring, index regulator, minute repeating on 2 gongs activated by a slide on the band. Glazed movement.
Engine turned case with portrait of the young Maharaja Fateh Singh, hinged gold cuvette. Push button at 12 o’clock to activate, stop and reset the chronograph.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute and 1/5th second track with five-minute/seconds Arabic numerals calibrated to 300 units, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 and blued steel spade hands. Dial signed.
