A fine Swiss double-dial 18 carat pink gold and champlevé enamel hunting cased keyless pocket watch with day and date indications, circa 1900.
Three-body polished case with hinged and sprung front cover with red and blue champlevé enamel monogram V & A and a back cover opening to reveal the calendar.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and gold spade hands. The calendar dial is white enamel with an annular outer date ring and inner ring for the days of the week.
Geneva Striping decoration movement with 18 jewels, 2 in screwed gold châtons, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance, index regulator and the calendar star-wheels geared to the centre wheel.
