A Swiss platinum diamond and ruby set open faced watch, retailed by Tiffany & co., Circa 1904. This watch features a skeletonized mechanical movement with a lever escapement, a silvered dial with an outer minute ring, applied indexes, and baton hands. It has a platinum case with a diamond and synthetic ruby set inner bezel, and a snap on case back. The maker signs the dial and movement, while the retailer signs the case and movement. It comes with a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale as July 25, 1904.

The case and caseback are in very good condition with surface scratches consistent with age. The noticeable scratch at 2 o’clock and visible scuff at 3 o’clock on the crystal. The dial is in overall good condition, but with spotting between 3 and 5 o’clock and 10 and 12 o’clock. The hands have scratches and some tarnishing at the tip of the second’s hand. There’s a minor scuff at the top of the signature. The diamond indexes are intact but their quality or condition has not been tested. The movement is running.
