Complicated gold hunting cased pocket watch by Gentil Auguste

A fine, heavy Swiss hunting cased quarter repeating watch with chronograph, calendar and moon phase, circa 1900.
14 carat rose gold, tiered and polished case with pusher for repetition at  “12”, slide for repeating mechanism, and glazed movement. Enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, window for month, cobalt blue enamelled moon phase disc with inlaid golden moon and stars, two subsidiary dials for indications of the day and the date, Louis XV hands and centre chronograph hand. Bridge movement, frosted and gilt, with finely ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, two hammers / two gongs, “Patent Swiss 14358” (“Volant régulateur amortisseur pour mécanismes d’horlogerie modérateurs”) and a screw compensation balance.
