A rare and highly complicated Swiss gold hunting cased pocket watch with Grande Sonnerie and repeater, circa 1900.
Engine turned 14K pink gold case with glazed movement and the dome with polished engraving. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and pink gold hands. Very fine precision lever movement, quarter self-strike Grande Sonnerie and quarter repeater, Geneva stripes, tandem winding, and patent number 18543 on the plate (César Racine). Dial and dome with seller’s signature R. Winter.
