A very fine Swiss, rare and unusual, keyless, 18K yellow gold, diamond and enamel, Art Nouveau lapel watch, circa 1900. With detachable matching brooch with green enamel. Accompanied by a leather box. Hinged case back ornamented with gold floral and enamel sunburst decoration and set with 12 diamonds, hinged gold cuvette with dedication, and hinged bezel decorated with a floral relief pattern. White enamel dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Yellow gold Louis XIV hands. ¾ gilt movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case and dial signed.
