An almost as new Swiss deck chronometer in a mahogany box, circa 1950.
Steel polished case, steel dome, and screw back. Signed silvered dial with radial Roman hours, centre seconds, and blued spade hands. Signed rhodium-plated 3/4 plate movement with Geneva Striping, gold screw compensation balance, shock protection for balance wheel, and cam-type fine adjusting device.
