–
A nearly new split seconds chronograph in steel case, made by Longines in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, circa 1953. The numbered plain open faced case of this watch is crafted from steel and its silvered dial has Arabic minute and hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock and blued steel hands.
The numbered movement has a precision lever escapement, a split seconds chronograph, a Glucydur balance with screws and 21 jewels.
Case and movement have matching numbers and the dial and movement are signed.
