A very fine and rare trip minute repeating, 18 carat yellow gold, keyless hunting cased pocket watch. Accompanied by the original Girard Perregaux box and a Girard Perregaux document. Made Circa 1900. Four-body, bassine and polished case with medallion inscription to the inner case back, decorative initials to the reverse and hinged gold cuvette with medallions and inscriptions. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and gilt Louis XV hands. Rhodium-plated movement with 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement with compensation, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator and repeating on gongs with two polished steel hammers. Dial, case and movement signed.
