The accompanying Extract from the Archives for this watch records the date of manufacture of the movement as 1927. The Extract from the Archives further states that Patek Philippe later completed and encased the movement in 1957 and the watch sold initially on July 16th of the year 1960. The dial on this watch appears unusual as it does not have the standard batons normally seen, but Arabic numerals. An example of this rare reference is illustrated in Huber, M. & Banbery, A., Patek Philippe, p. 234. A picture of the movement is on the same page.
