A beautiful 14 K gold Ankerchronometer with early bar movement, delivered to W. Babczynski in Genèva, circa 1900. A 14 K gold, punched, gold dome 14 K inscribed “No124818 W. Babczynski W GENEWIE”, back with Polish dedication and date 1900, case number 124818, glazed movement, bar movement with crown winding, lever escapement, large bimetallic screw balance, blued Breguet hairspring, fine adjusting device with long regulator pointer, rubies, polished stainless steel screws, polished winding wheels with sunburst decoration, original silver dial with applied gilt Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, floral decoration, dial signed “W.Babczynski W Genewie”, blued steel hands, engine turned back in good condition, movement in working order, recommended for cleaning, overall in good condition.
